Internship

The internship program is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be an intern at your local church. This is a privileged position that is only available in consultation with your ‘Local Pastor’ and ‘PCOM’s Principal’. If selected you will be invited to play a vital role in your local church and have the opportunity to sow your life into changing your city.

What you learn will be with you for your entire life and you will develop in a way that is only possible in this environment. Imagine the impact you will make, the knowledge you will acquire, and the skills you will develop. An internship is available for both the certificate IV and diploma levels.
Certificate IV can be completed over a period of 1-2 years
Diploma can be completed over a period of 2-4 years

An internship is an ideal way to complete your course whilst helping develop your own church grow and become all that God has called it to be.

Highlights

Coaching / Mentoring

Spend time with your pastors who will enlarge your vision and leadership through individual and small group coaching. Opportunities will be given to discuss and reflect on your personal ministry experience.

Insights / Foundations

Deepen your understanding of the essentials of your faith through New Testament Survey, Old Testament Survey, Romans, and Ephesians. These studies will give you an overview of the Bible and insight into your identity in Christ.

Experience / Ministry

Work with your pastor on projects specifically designed to develop your leadership skills while making a significant contribution to the life and vision of your local church.

Skills / Leadership

Develop your leadership ability through practical sessions designed to enhance your personal management, public speaking, and interpersonal skills. Time will also be set aside to develop your ability to hear from God through His Word.
