Diploma in Christian Ministry

The Diploma in Christian Ministry builds upon the foundation of the Certificate IV and deepens the student’s personal, theological and leadership development. Insights gained in Certificate IV are brought to greater maturity and students are exposed to a broader range of ministry insights and opportunities. The Diploma of Christian Ministry prepares students for pastoral and lay ministry in a variety of settings and is the preferred minimal requirement for applicants to a Probationary Ministry Certificate with Australian Christian Churches.

In order to gain competence in the Diploma of Christian Ministry students are required to complete the requirements of Certificate IV in Christian Ministry and a minimum of 18 units/modules comprising of 11 core units/modules listed below and a minimum of 7 elective units/modules. Elective units/modules may be chosen from the list of electives below or from appropriate units/modules within other endorsed training packages or accredited courses and must equate to a minimum of 260 nominal hours.
